We have a bunch of user manuals (or user guides) available for Dell EMC Enterprise Management software including OpenManage Enterprise (OME), Dell Repository Manager (DRM), SupportAssist Enterprise (SAE), etc.
I spend a lot of time providing links to doco, but these links expire as we update the documentation, so I thought I'd do a quick blog post on how to find the manuals, then people should always be able to find them, even as they are updated.
The first step is to head to https://www.dell.com/support (this should open in a new tab).
Click on the Browse all products link on the page.
When the Browse all products window opens, click on Software
Now if you're after OpenManage Enterprise or Repository Manager, then keep reading.
If you're after SupportAssist Enterprise, skip down to the SAE section.
OpenManage Enterprise, Repository Manager & iDRAC
When the Software window opens, click on Enterprise Systems Management
Now you can select the software you're interested in e.g. OME or DRM. This window displays a lot of products, so you might need to hunt around or use the search function of your browser (usually Ctrl+F). The word "enterprise" or "repository" usually narrows the search down enough.
The next window will show you versions for the software you've selected e.g. OME 3.2.1, so select the version you need documentation for.
A special mention here for iDRAC:
iDRAC is listed under Remote Enterprise Systems Management, listed in this section is documentation for different iDRAC versions and associated iDRAC functionality e.g. iDRAC Service Module, Lifecycle Controllers, etc.
When the window for the software product and version you've selected opens, head to the Documentation section, and start reading :-)
SupportAssist Enterprise
When the Software windows opens, click on Serviceability Tools
Now you can select the software SupportAssist Enterprise.
The next window will show you versions for that software e.g. SAE 4.0, so select the version you need documentation for.
When the window for the software product and version you've selected opens, head to the Documentation section and grab the doco you need.
OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter (OMIVV)
When the Software window opens, click on Virtualization Solutions
Now you can select the software OpenManage Integration for VMware vCentre x.x.
The next window will show you versions for that software e.g. OMIVV 5.0, so select the version you need documentation for.
When the window for the software product and version you've selected opens, head to the Documentation section and grab the doco you need.
